We, Jesus’ friends. The ones that are supposed to do as Jesus did, talk like Jesus did, to follow him.

Asking for help for someone else. We usually call that advocacy. What we assume is best for everyone. We forget to ask the people involved what they want.

They considered Jesus to be “a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinner.” Because he ate and drank like regular people do. And that’s highly suspicious for the Son of Man, right?
