As much as we might need angels this year, we aren’t quite ready for them yet.

We long for peace, and yet, don’t know better than fighting. That to be a peacemaker, you have to come from a place of strength. And that’s where it gets interesting.

The truth will make you free. Free from making the same mistakes. Free from committing the same crimes. Free from feeling superior again over anybody. The truth will make you free. Nothing else can.

Desires can be redirected.  Ambitions can be purified.  But my unwillingness to care?

Everyone dreams of it, but nobody wants to be seen as actually rich.

We shamed them by ignoring them. We felt like we needed to pick sides when no one had asked us to do so.

We, Jesus’ friends. The ones that are supposed to do as Jesus did, talk like Jesus did, to follow him.

No matter which job I would ever have, I would be the best! If I had become a trash collector, I would aim at being the best trash collector in town.

No one likes hearing that they are wrong. Because whenever that happens, we know deep in our heart it’s the truth. And the worst is, you thought you got it right.

Asking for help for someone else. We usually call that advocacy. What we assume is best for everyone. We forget to ask the people involved what they want.
